Bio

Katelyn Goldstein is a distinguished Video Editor, Producer, & Colorits with a rich career spanning major networks and studios, including Paramount+, Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, and LAIKA Studios. She has played a key role in launching top-tier intellectual properties like “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “Yellowstone”, “NCIS”, and “South Park”, as well as blockbuster films such as Mission Impossible at Paramount+. Her versatility and deep expertise in both video production and post-production have made her an essential contributor to these high-profile projects.

Katelyn’s career also includes a significant tenure at LAIKA Studios, where she was instrumental in creating marketing materials for multiple platforms such as theaters, DVD re-releases, YouTube, and TikTok, reaching millions of views. Her work on critically acclaimed films like the BAFTA-winning and Academy Award-nominated Kubo and the Two Strings, the Golden Globe-winning Missing Link, and the upcoming Wildwood showcases her ability to refine and enhance audio/visual marketing content to the highest standards. She also contributed to the marketing of evergreen titles like Coraline, Paranorman, and The Boxtrolls, with her work being globally distributed by studios such as Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Annapurna Pictures, and United Artists.

A graduate of Smith College with a focus on Studio Art and Digital Media, Katelyn combines technical expertise with a strong creative vision. She is proficient in industry-standard software like DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects and has a solid foundation in traditional fine arts, including watercolor painting and storyboarding. Her skills extend to digital illustration, screenwriting, and concept art development.

 

Katelyn is also a champion of diversity and inclusion within the industry. She founded LAIKA's Disability Employee Resource Group (ERG) and she currently serves as a Mentorship Lead and Recruiter for the PDX Chapter of Women in Animation.

 

Her portfolio, which includes the pitch-winning 360 student film "Endless Cycle" created in collaboration with Univision, demonstrates her commitment to creating cohesive visual styles that bring stories to life, making her an invaluable asset to any creative team.
